Flight Data Live aircraft API · coming soon

Flightradar24 API alternatives in 2026

Flight Data is one, from €5 a month: live aircraft positions with the route on the same object, billed per call instead of per flight returned — and pushed to you over one open connection, which the Flightradar24 API does not offer.

Every provider checked on its own pages on 8 October 2026.

Where the difference shows

A display that polls

At 8 credits per full live position, Explorer’s 30,000 monthly credits cover about 3,750 aircraft positions a month. A display that asks every 10 seconds for the 20 aircraft around it has used them up after about half an hour. On Flight Data a call costs the same whether it returns one aircraft or a hundred, and a live area is pushed to you instead of polled.

The whole world

A map of everything in the air needs the whole world in one answer. On the Flightradar24 API that starts with Advanced at $900 a month; on Flight Data with Developer at €15.

Commercial use from the first plan

Every Flight Data plan, Hobby included, allows commercial use and returns the full object: route with its confidence, flight phase, operator and ICAO type.

When Flightradar24 is the better choice

Early means three months free.

Waitlist offer: three months free with yearly billing, and 10 % off Developer or 20 % off Pro for as long as you keep the plan.
